September Reading Calendar Prizes

Congratulations to the first grade reading calendar raffle prize winners, Malena, Molly, Rylan, Brandon, Lev, Hailey and Berkeley! They all chose great prizes!

Congratulations also to Miss Pastorello's Class, who logged 147 hours of reading on their September reading calendars!! They won a special prize for reading the most hours out of all of the first grade classes!

Don't forget to check out each class' reading progress on the display in the lobby.

Looking forward to adding kindergarten into the reading fun this month! One kindergarten friend (that passes in a completed October reading calendar) from each classroom will win a reading raffle prize and the classroom that reads the most hours during the month will get a special prize!

Let's READ

Learning to read is in full swing at CES.  First graders have been reading like crazy and filling in their reading calendars at home in the hopes of winning some great prizes! Kindergartners will get their first reading calendar in October. I will be in classes explaining the reading calendar program, prizes and reading to kindergarten students next week.  I can't wait to get them EXCITED about learning to read!
